The City of Pleasant Grove Utah

Pleasant Grove was established in 1850 and has steadily grown ever since.  Residents grew by over one thousand people last year to 31,552.  Renters make up close to one-quarter of the population and there are around 6,343 houses in Pleasant Grove.  Median income has passed the average in Utah and is $65,178.

Each year, Pleasant Grove will generally get about 17 inches of rain and 42 inches of snow.  The summer high is about 91 degrees and the winter low will average around 20 degrees.  All year long there are plenty of activities for all to enjoy.  In the wintertime, Utah ski resorts are never a letdown.  During the summer, Pleasant Grove celebrates the longest continuous community celebration in Utah, Strawberry Days.  A rodeo, Miss Pleasant Grove pageant and parade are all part of the entertainment that attracts families back for more each year.  The city also celebrates the Heritage Festival with activities such as a 5K run, and a barbeque cook-off.  There are also several historical markers and sites that can be accessed all year long throughout the city.

Major businesses in Pleasant Grove include: iXod, A-Plus Benefits, Dialect Graphic Design, Freedom Steel, Alpine Plastics and Test Out.  Great location allows access to the airport and downtown Salt Lake City in just about 30 minutes.   Neighboring cities include: Lindon, Cedar Hills, American Fork, Vineyard, Highland, Orem, Alpine, and Lehi.  Convenient location and a great family atmosphere make Pleasant Grove a good consideration when moving to Utah.

Even Pleasant Grove Real Estate numbers have showed an increased interest to move there.  In many cities, recent Utah Real Estate trends will show that number of houses sold will increase if prices go down.  In Pleasant Grove, sold prices were up last quarter but yet so were sales.
